Frigid

Frigid, an experience by MarbledHubb Studios, is a modpack for 1.20.1 Forge that's centered around a world succumbed by ice and snow. You must watch and regulate your temperature, endure the harsh cold conditions, and hunt for food and animal fur for your survival. But be careful, you aren't the only one who is hunting for survival.

Getting Started

Once upon joining Frigid, you will be instantly thrown into a freezing, desolate world. You will need to act quick to build a Campfire. You are given a grace effect for a short period of time each login and death.

You will spawn with starting gear that will obviously get you started. Firstly, chop down trees to craft Firewood. Place 4 Firewood down VIA right-click and then define the Campfire with either Coal or Charcoal, which you are given 2 Charcoal upon joining. Then, use your Matches that were also given to you upon joining to light the Campfire.

The outside may be too cold for a simple Campfire to warm you up. The best way is to dig underground and cut yourself off from the outside, assemble your Campfire, and huddle closely. You can also create more Campfires as well as Torches to warm you up quicker.
